CONCORD, NC - Lowe's Motor Speedway was the venue again this week in NASCAR both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup, while Camping World Truck Series had the weekend. The rain filled Memorial Day Weekend disrupted the racing calendar, race cut short on Saturday and the time Coca-Cola 600 until Monday. Classification for both races ended time.
Thursday evening drivers head of Sprint Ryan Newman in the lead, turning a lap of 188.475 mph. The performance earned him his eighth pole at Lowe's, his fifth of the Coca-Cola 600. Kyle Bush has begun to number two followed by Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne and fill the first three lines. Six to ten places went to Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne, Juan Pablo Montoya Joey Logano, and Matt Kenseth.
